Psychology · Module 2
Applied Psychology
Module 1 introduced the field — its history, methods, and the brain behind behaviour. This module puts psychology to work on the situations you actually live in: how your mind builds reality, where it takes shortcuts, how other people bend your behaviour, and how to change your own.
You will see how perception and attention quietly filter the world, learn the biases that trip up everyone, understand conformity, obedience, and persuasion, get an evidence-based look at stress and wellbeing, learn how habits really form and change, and finish by learning to read psychology itself critically — separating solid findings from the pop-psychology myths and the studies that failed to replicate.
This module is general education, not medical or mental-health advice; persistent distress deserves a qualified professional.
